Muhammad Ali's death rumors

Muhammad Ali's daughter has denied rumors of her father being near
yesterday, saying he was at home watching the Super Bowl.
May May Ali said she talked to her father on Sunday morning on the phone
and he was fine. She said he watched the Super Bowl at home in Arizona.
The rumors were started by a report in a British tabloid quoting Ali's
brother, Rahman, as saying the former heavyweight champion was near death.
Rahman, though, said he hadn't seen his brother since last summer and had
no contact with the family.
The report was widely repeated on the Internet, drawing expressions of
condolences on Twitter and Facebook.
Ali suffers from Parkinson's disease. He celebrated his 71st birthday last
month.

Sick Nathan Cleverly cancels WBO title defence with Robin Krasniqi

Nathan Cleverly has been forced to withdraw from his WBO light-heavyweight title defence against Robin Krasniqi due to illness.
The Welsh star was set to face the Kosovan on 28 April at the Royal Albert Hall, London, but has been unable to train for his fourth title defence.
he said his been unable to train because he has a viral infection.
It is not yet clear whether the fight with Krasniqi will be rearranged, or whether Cleverly will have to face the WBO's mandatory challenger, Russian Dmitry Sukhotsky.

Chisora gets indefinite WBC ban

for his behavior before and after his fight
with Vitali Klitschko.
British heavyweight Chisora was involved
in a brawl with countryman David
Haye at the news conference after his defeat
by the Ukrainian in Munich.
Chisora also slapped Klitschko at the
weigh-in and spat water in the face
of his brother Wladimir before the bout.
