Will Asiwaju Bola Tinubu run for the presidency in 2023?. Well, it may just be a matter of time before he officially declares his intention.
This is because, the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has given credence to a movement-building support base for Tinubu ahead of 2023.
The movement, Southwest Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ‘23), flagged off the Southwest Agenda 2023 (SWAGA ‘23) in an event that was attended by Governor Sanwo-Olu.
Sanwo-Olu was accompanied by all members of the State Executive Council, lawmakers in the State House of Assembly, and members of Conference 57 to formally unveil the political group.
Reacting, analyst, Jimi Disu thinks this is a welcome development.
Speaking to Wemimo Adewuni on Friday on Morning Crossfire, Disu said this will motivate others to declare their intentions early, which is something he has always clamoured for.
