Co-Founder, Grassroots Network for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu (GNAT), Hon. Kehinde Bamigbetan has argued that there is nothing wrong with the presence of bullion vans at his principal’s compound in 2015.
Viral pictures on social media on the eve of the 2019 general elections, showed two bullion vans driving into Tinubu’s residence.
But Hon Bamigbetan, a former Commissioner for Information in Lagos, told Daily Digest host, Jimi Disu, that this was probably to help disburse funds to key people during the election.
He added that circumstances necessitate actions like that, and it wasn’t about making a statement.
Bamigbetan also answered questions on why Tinubu should lead Nigeria in 2023, a possible face-off with Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and other allegations levelled against his principal.
