The driver who hit and killed two staff of the Lagos State Waste Management Authority (LAWMA) on Monday has turned himself in to the Police in Lagos.
The incident occurred around the Gbagada area of Lagos was confirmed by LAWMA on its official X handle.
Benjamin Hundeyin, Spokesman for the Police on Tuesday confirmed the suspect turned himself in to the police on Monday evening.
According to Hudenyin, "he will be arraigned for manslaughter possibly today (Tuesday)."
Following the unfortunate incident on Monday, reports claim the suspect crushed the LAWMA workers while trying to evade arrest by Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officers, a claim denied by the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.
