The decision of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to place a ban on alcohol in sachets and pet bottles has received more commendations than criticism from Nigerians.
Many who aired their views on the Sunny Side show with Joyce Onyemuwa were of the opinion the move would go a long way in curbing the "abuse" of alcohol.
"People drink for no reason," said one caller.
"Just at the glance of the bottle, they just find out they have N50 and they go for it," he added.
However, this is not a total ban on alcohol by NAFDAC.
