Reactions surrounding the selection of Kashim Shettima as the running mate to APC's Bola Tinubu appear not to be ending anytime soon.
The announcement by the presidential candidate of the ruling APC has sparked a debate about a Muslim-Muslim ticket for the 2023 general election.
Hard Facts host, Sandra Ezekwesili put forward a question to listeners; "If competence is guaranteed, which factor will be first for you in choosing your running mate?
"Would it be religion, numbers or national unity?"
A cross-section of callers said they would put national unity above religion and number.
According to them, it makes no sense to have a large number of votes in a disunited country.
Some other callers, opted for numbers in choosing their running mate, with the reason being that "Nigeria can never be united."
