Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called for calm and adherence to safety directives following an attack that left several people injured.
In a post on X, Netanyahu described it as a “very difficult evening” and said he had spoken with the Mayor of Arad, Yair Maayan, to convey prayers for those affected on behalf of Israeli citizens.
He said he had directed the Director General of his office to coordinate with government ministries to provide necessary assistance to victims.
The prime minister also commended emergency and rescue teams responding to the situation and urged the public to follow instructions from the Home Front Command.
Netanyahu added that Israel remains determined to continue striking its enemies across multiple fronts.
