First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says President Bola Tinubu will move Nigeria from economic reforms to prosperity if re-elected for a second term in 2027.
She made the statement at the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-Central Mega Rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where she urged party members to mobilise support for the re-election of the president and Vice-President Kashim Shettima.
The First Lady highlighted the administration’s achievements in infrastructure, agriculture and other sectors, arguing that continuity would help sustain its policies.
She said the economy was stabilising, foreign exchange pressures were easing and investors were returning to the country.
Remi Tinubu also highlighted the administration’s food support programme for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers, saying it was designed to improve nutrition and provide treatment for malnourished children.
She added that students were benefiting from government education funding initiatives.
She described the president as a leader willing to take difficult decisions and expressed confidence that his policies would strengthen the economy and improve national security.
The First Lady urged Nigerians to support the APC in the 2027 elections, saying the party’s campaign would focus on its policies and programmes without hate speech or actions capable of threatening national unity.
The rally was hosted by Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule, with governors and other political leaders from the North-Central region in attendance.
