World No. 1 Jannik Sinner continued his dominant run on clay, defeating Arthur Fils to book a place in the final of the Madrid Open.

The Italian star delivered a commanding performance, easing to a 6-2, 6-4 victory without facing a single break point.

With the win, Sinner becomes the youngest player to reach the final of all nine Masters 1000 tournaments, joining an elite group that includes Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer—while achieving the feat at a younger age than any of them.

Despite previously admitting challenges adapting to conditions at the Caja Mágica, Sinner has looked increasingly comfortable, dropping just one set throughout the tournament.

“Obviously very, very happy,” Sinner said after the match. “One more final here, it’s an amazing result.

I tried to raise my level today, especially in the first set where I was very aggressive.”

The 24-year-old is now on a 22-match winning streak, having last lost to Jakub Mensik in Doha in February.

Since then, he has claimed titles at Indian Wells, Miami and Monte Carlo, underlining his status as the form player on the ATP Tour.

Sinner now stands one win away from making history as the first player to secure five consecutive Masters 1000 titles.
