President Bola Tinubu has directed the Armed Forces, the Nigeria Police Force and intelligence agencies to intensify operations to track down those responsible for the deadly attack on Naridon Village in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the President condemned the attack, which reportedly killed about 30 residents, including women and children, and destroyed several homes.
Tinubu described the incident as a barbaric and cowardly attack on innocent citizens and vowed that those responsible would be arrested and brought to justice.
He also directed security agencies to restore normalcy in the affected communities and reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to strengthening the country’s security architecture.
The President urged residents to support security agencies with timely and credible intelligence to aid ongoing operations.
Tinubu also extended his condolences to the families of the victims, Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani and the people of Kaduna State.
