President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has promised Nigerians that his administration will tackle terrorism and banditry head-on, calling the threats “foreign” to the country’s culture.

Speaking Monday at the second National Economic Council Conference, Tinubu praised state governors and stakeholders for their dedication to national development.

He said the government is committed to strengthening security forces and ensuring stability across the country. “We will win with determination and resiliency,” the president vowed, adding that the fight against terrorism and banditry will continue until fully defeated.

Tinubu also highlighted the link between security and economic growth, stressing that peace and stability are essential to protecting citizens’ freedoms and driving national development.
