As the country prepares to head to the polls next year for the general elections, inquiries into the quality and credibility of the candidates of various political parties are headlining conversations.

Femi Gbajabiamila, Speaker of the House of Representatives, in a recent public function stressed the need for Nigerians to consider the educational qualification of the candidates vying for offices before choosing their leaders.

According to him, the minimum requirement should be a Secondary School Certificate.
