Commandant General of the Nigeria Defence Academy (NDA), Major-General Ibrahim Yusuf says efforts are in place to ensure the release of the abducted soldier during the attack on NDA last month.
Maj-Gen Yusuf made this known while briefing the House of Representatives Committee on the security breach that occurred at the NDA on the 24th of August.
In his remarks, the NDA Commandant General noted that the Academy was dear to the heart of both serving and retired military officials.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the committee, Babajimi Benson in a closed-door session promised to work with the Academy in order to find lasting solutions to the problems.
The Chairman of the Committee also promised that the House will work together with the Academy to ensure the ugly incident doesn't happen again.
Recall that on the 24th of August, suspected bandits attacked the NDA in Kaduna killing two officials and abducting one.
