Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced November 27, 2026, as the release date for his forthcoming album, Oldest Young Man.
The project will be his first full-length studio album in six years, following the release of Warriors in February 2020.
The singer announced the date in a post on his Instagram page, describing the upcoming project as timeless.
“The legacy continues.
"OLDEST YOUNG MAN drops 27.11.26.
"Timeless music, no expiration date,” he wrote.
2Baba had earlier teased the album in August, giving fans a glimpse of the thoughts behind the project.
“I’ve lived it.
"I’ve seen it.
"I’m still here.
"My new album, OLDEST YOUNG MAN, soon come,” he wrote.
The announcement follows a listening party held on Sept. 19 in Victoria Island, Lagos, where the singer gave guests an early preview of the album during activities marking his 51st birthday.
He also released Mental, featuring singer Fave, on Sept. 18, as part of his recent musical activities.
The forthcoming album follows a six-year period in which 2Baba remained active through singles and collaborations rather than full-length projects.
The singer also embarked on The Baba Experience, an eight-city tour of the United Kingdom and Ireland, which began in London in August.
Oldest Young Man will be his ninth studio album.
Its full tracklist and featured artistes have not yet been announced.
