A chief magistrate court in the Federal Capital Territory has ordered rapper Tochukwu Ojogwu, known as Odumodublvck, to appear in person to answer allegations of criminal intimidation brought by Olayinka Osagie Onobun, head of artists and repertoire at Chocolate City Music.
A summons dated 3 November 2025, and seen by reporters directs Odumodublvck to appear before Chief Magistrate Farida Ibrahim on 6 November to respond to a petition filed by Onobun’s counsel, Pelumi Olajengbesi. The petition alleges the rapper used a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) to threaten and intimidate the complainant, which the lawyer said was intended “to instill fear.” The filings cite Sections 396 and 397 of the Penal Code Act.

The dispute follows escalating online clashes between Odumodublvck and figures associated with Chocolate City: veteran rapper MI Abaga and Blaqbonez. Onobun, who also manages Blaqbonez, told the court the posts amounted to a pattern of intimidation that warranted investigation and possible prosecution.
Odumodublvck has posted that recent weeks have been “heavy” and complained of being “painted in terrible lights,” but he had not issued a formal legal response as of publication. Magistrate Ibrahim’s order requires the rapper’s personal appearance, signalling the matter will be given priority for initial hearing and possible directions for further inquiry.
Representatives for Chocolate City and Odumodublvck have not issued any comments following the revelation of the summons.
