ADC Coalition Will Prioritize Nigerians' Interests - Peter Obi

Peter Obi, the Labour Party's presidential candidate in the 2023 elections, has expressed confidence in the newly formed coalition involving the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

According to Obi, the coalition is set to prioritize the interests of Nigerians ahead of any political ambitions.

Posting on X, Obi lauded the coalition's commitment to addressing the country's pressing issues, emphasizing that the collective effort is focused on delivering tangible benefits to the citizens.

He noted that the coalition's primary goal is to foster unity and development across Nigeria, rising above partisan divides to serve the nation's broader interests.

The coalition, which includes several prominent political figures, has adopted the ADC as its platform to challenge the current administration in future elections.

At a recent meeting, ex-Senate President David Mark was named interim national chairman, while former governors Nasir El-Rufai and Rauf Aregbesola are also key members of the alliance.

Obi's endorsement of the coalition underscores the growing momentum behind the political movement, which seeks to offer a credible alternative to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

He highlighted the importance of collaboration among different political actors and urged Nigerians to support initiatives that aim to improve governance and accountability.
