The All Progressives Congress has announced dates for its National Caucus and National Executive Committee meetings, set to hold on December 15 and 16 at the Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa.
The schedule was disclosed in an official notice signed by APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru and released on the party’s website on Wednesday.
According to the notice, the National Caucus will meet on Monday, December 15, at 6 p.m. The caucus, established under Article 11 of the APC Constitution, brings together top party leaders, including the national chairman, national officers, past and present presidents and vice presidents who are party members, former national chairmen, state chairmen, governors, and other stakeholders.
“All members of the National Caucus are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 11.5 of the Constitution,” the statement said.
The NEC meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 16, at noon. The committee, defined under Article 13.1 of the party constitution, includes national officers, deputy officers, zonal representatives, state chairmen, and members elected by the National Convention.
“All members of the National Executive Committee are by this invitation to take notice of the meeting in accordance with Article 12.3 of the APC Constitution,” the notice added.
