JAMB Sacks Staff Member Over Candidate Extortion

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has terminated the appointment of a staff member for extorting candidates.

JAMB disclosed the decision in its latest bulletin, saying its fight against fraud and misconduct also applies to its own employees.

The Board warned that any staff member found exploiting candidates or abusing their position will face serious consequences, regardless of rank.

It stressed that employees involved in misconduct will not be protected.

JAMB says its zero tolerance policy on corruption applies both within and outside the organisation as it works to protect the integrity of its examinations and admission processes.
