Troops of Operation HADIN KAI have successfully repelled coordinated ISWAP attacks on FOBs Mayanti, Gajigana, and Gajiram in Nigeria’s Northeast.
The assaults, launched between 28 February and 1 March, left multiple terrorists dead and saw the recovery of PKT guns, RPGs, AK-47s, armed drones, and ammunition.
One soldier was killed and another wounded and airlifted for medical care.
Lieutenant Colonel Sani Uba, OPHK Media Officer, said all bases remain secure, emphasizing the growing degradation of ISWAP’s combat capacity.
Troops also disrupted terrorist logistics, arrested two suppliers, and seized weapons, vehicles, and medical supplies.
The operations demonstrate OPHK’s continued offensive, denying terrorists freedom of action and forcing retreats under heavy losses.
