The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has announced an adjustment to its timetable and schedule of activities for the 2027 general elections.
In a press release signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Jungudo Haruna Mohammed, the party said the revised schedule supersedes its earlier timetable and urged members, stakeholders, and the public to take note of the changes.
The PDP said further details on the updated timetable will be communicated in due course.
In a separate detailed schedule released by the party from its national secretariat in Abuja, the PDP outlined timelines for key electoral activities, including submission of party registers to INEC, requests for primaries, sale of nomination forms, screening of aspirants, and appeals processes.
According to the schedule, party primaries will cover House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate, governorship, and presidential elections, with activities spread between April 21 and May 30 2026.
The party also released the cost structure for nomination forms. Expression of Interest fees were pegged at ₦1 million across all elective positions, while nomination fees vary by office—ranging from ₦2 million for state assembly seats to ₦50 million for the presidential ticket.
Female aspirants, however, are required to pay only the Expression of Interest fees for any position.
The schedule also includes provisions for screening of aspirants, appeals processes, and final primaries for all elective offices.
