President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will return to Abuja on Tuesday, ending his vacation earlier than scheduled.
Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, confirmed the development in a statement on Monday.
The statement noted that President Tinubu will resume official duties immediately upon his return to Abuja, though it did not disclose why he chose to cut his vacation short.
Recall that the President, left Nigeria on September 4 for France as part of his annual holiday and was originally expected to split the break between France and the United Kingdom.
While in Paris last week, Tinubu held a private luncheon with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Élysée Palace. Both leaders reportedly reviewed bilateral ties.
