President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says his administration is fully committed to defeating terrorism and strengthening Nigeria’s standing on the global stage.

In a statement on Friday, the President said his government remains focused on tackling security challenges and driving reforms for peace and prosperity.

“We face challenges head-on and remain steadfast in our commitment to engage partners and champion Nigeria’s interests,” Tinubu said.

He vowed that terrorism, which has plagued the country for nearly two decades, will be “decisively defeated.”

The President also called for unity and resilience among Nigerians, describing the nation as “one family determined to move forward together.”

Tinubu thanked the armed forces and intelligence agencies for their sacrifices, saying their courage remains Nigeria’s greatest weapon in the fight against terror.

He reaffirmed Nigeria’s role as a reliable ally and a steady voice for stability in regional and global affairs.
