The African Democratic Congress has postponed its presidential and governorship screening exercise earlier scheduled for this weekend to Monday, May 18, 2026.
The party disclosed this in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi.
According to the statement, the adjustment was made as part of changes to the party’s screening timetable.
The party also announced that the screening of affected federal lawmaker aspirants from parts of Northern Nigeria impacted by insecurity would now be conducted in Abuja.
ADC said all affected aspirants would be contacted with updated schedules and other necessary details regarding the exercise.
The party expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the postponement and appealed for the understanding and cooperation of aspirants and stakeholders.
