Arsenal beat Tottenham 4-1, extend Premier League lead

Arsenal delivered a stunning 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League north London derby on Sunday, restoring their five-point lead at the top of the table.

Eberechi Eze opened the scoring with a brilliant volley, quickly equalised by Randal Kolo Muani for Spurs.

Viktor Gyokeres struck twice in the second half, including a late injury-time finish, while Eze added a second after following up Bukayo Saka’s rebound.

Gyokeres earned man-of-the-match honours for his two goals and an assist, while Eze continues his hot streak against Spurs with five goals in two games this season.

Manager Mikel Arteta praised the performance, saying, “We dominated, created chances, and showed what we are capable of.”

Tottenham struggled despite moments of promise, with goalkeeper David Raya making a crucial late save to prevent a nervy finish.

The win marks Arsenal’s fifth successive derby triumph under Arteta, their best record since the 1980s, keeping their title ambitions firmly alive.
