Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar on Thursday visited former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi, following the conclusion of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential primary.
Atiku was accompanied by former Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, ex-ADC National Chairman Ralph Nwosu, and other party stakeholders.
The meeting comes amid ongoing political reactions after the ADC primary, where both Atiku and Amaechi played key roles in the contest.
The visit is believed to be part of wider consultations aimed at strengthening unity within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Although details of the closed-door discussion were not disclosed, the engagement is seen as part of efforts to manage post-primary tensions and consolidate internal party relations.
