Enugu Air has confirmed that one of its aircraft experienced a runway excursion after landing at Benin Airport on Wednesday.
The airline said all passengers and crew safely disembarked from the aircraft, adding that no injuries or casualties were recorded.
In a public notice, Enugu Air said, "We confirm that all passengers and crew have safely disembarked and there were no injuries or casualties."
According to the airline, the aircraft has been secured and the relevant aviation authorities notified in line with established procedures.
It added that an assessment of the aircraft and the circumstances surrounding the incident is currently underway.
The airline also said the incident may result in temporary adjustments to some flight schedules, noting that affected passengers would be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance.
"Passengers affected by any changes will be contacted directly and provided with the necessary assistance," the airline said.
It reaffirmed that the safety of its passengers, crew and operations remains its highest priority and said it would continue to provide updates through its official communication channels.
