Normal flight operations have resumed at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos after a fire incident briefly disrupted activities on Sunday.
The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria confirmed the incident in a statement, saying its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service responded swiftly to contain the fire.
FAAN said there were no casualties or loss of life.
The authority later announced that normal operations had resumed at the terminal, with passengers being processed and flight activities continuing as scheduled.
FAAN added that further updates would be provided as more information becomes available.
