The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) says it will arraign former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, at the Federal High Court in Kaduna on Tuesday, March 24, 2026.
In a statement, the commission said the case, marked FHC/KD/73/2026, involves charges “ranging from conversion of and possession of public property, to money laundering,” alongside a co-defendant, Joel Adoga.
The ICPC added that a separate case has also been filed at the Kaduna State High Court against El-Rufai and another defendant, Amadu Sule, with charges including “abuse of office, fraud, and intent to commit fraud to conferring undue advantage.”
According to the commission, both cases were filed on March 18, 2026, noting that “Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has been duly served,” while the date for the state court arraignment will be announced by the court.
