Iran Sends New Proposal for U.S. Talks via Pakistan

Iran has submitted a fresh proposal for talks with the United States through Pakistan, signaling a possible diplomatic opening despite ongoing tensions.

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, the proposal was delivered on Thursday evening, although details were not disclosed.

The move comes as tensions remain high, with Iran maintaining control over the Strait of Hormuz, disrupting global supplies of oil, gas and fertiliser.

In response, the United States has imposed a counter blockade on Iranian ports, further escalating economic pressure.

Despite stalled negotiations, a ceasefire between both sides has continued to hold.

Iran’s judiciary chief, Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, said the country remains open to dialogue but will not accept external pressure.

He maintained that while Iran is willing to negotiate, any agreement must respect its position and sovereignty.
