Kamaru Usman Dominates Joaquin Buckley in UFC Atlanta Main Event, Declares “Boogeyman” is Back

In front of a boisterous crowd, Usman delivered a masterclass in grappling and striking, controlling the fight from start to finish. After a strong first round, he took Buckley to the ground, where he unleashed a series of powerful strikes that left his opponent struggling to defend himself.

Nicknamed ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’, Usman secured a clear victory on the judges’ scorecards (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) after five rounds of dominant grappling in the welterweight contest.

With this victory, he not only secured a unanimous decision win but also sent a clear message to the rest of the division: the "Boogeyman" is back and ready to reclaim his title. Following the fight, Usman expressed his determination to re-establish himself at the top of the welterweight rankings.
