YouTube star KSI has announced his retirement from boxing, ending years of speculation about a possible showdown with rival Jake Paul.
KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, burst onto the boxing scene in 2018 with his blockbuster fight against Logan Paul, a bout that helped push influencer boxing into the mainstream.
He later launched Misfits Boxing, providing a platform for content creators and social media stars to compete in professional bouts.
But after a run of five fights between 2022 and 2023, finishing with a 3 wins 1 loss and 1 draw record, KSI says he has lost the passion for the sport.
His decision means the long talked about clash with Jake Paul, fueled by years of online rivalry and fan hype, will now not happen.
