Former Kano State Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has dismissed a social media message claiming he is planning a protest over rising insecurity in the country.
In a statement posted on X, Kwankwaso said he does not support any action capable of disrupting public order or causing the destruction of lives and property.
He stressed that his political movement remains committed to peaceful and democratic processes, adding that the ballot box remains the most legitimate avenue for expressing grievances.
Kwankwaso urged the public to disregard the message, describing it as false and the work of those spreading disinformation.
