The Lagos State Government has announced partial road closures across parts of the state for project commissioning events on April 8 and 9.
Authorities say the measure is to ensure safety and smooth movement during the events, advising motorists to plan ahead.
On April 8, traffic will be affected around Opebi, Allen, Ikeja and Ojota during the commissioning of the Opebi Mende Link Bridge between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.
On April 9, closures will impact areas in Olodi Apapa and Ajegunle for the Tolu Schools Complex event, also scheduled for 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Later that day, motorists are advised to avoid parts of Victoria Island, including the Eko Hotel corridor, between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority says traffic officers will be on ground to manage movement.
Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, urged residents to cooperate with officials and expect delays.
