The Lagos State Government has revealed that the Lekki Concession Company will carry out an initial two-week test run before resuming tolling on the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge.
State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotoso, says the test run is needed so that the challenges reopening the tollgate might cause can be addressed properly.
In addition, Omotosho assured Lagosians that the LCC had taken steps to ensure the road was not congested after tolling resumes.
According to him, better equipment has been bought to ensure a smooth passage on that road.
