Millions of people have taken to the streets across the United States in protests against President Donald Trump, expressing anger over his policies and leadership style.
According to Agence France Presse, organisers say at least eight million people joined more than 3,300 demonstrations held across all 50 states, although authorities are yet to confirm a nationwide figure.
The protests are linked to a growing grassroots movement known as “No Kings,” which has gained momentum since Trump began his second term in January 2025.
In New York City, tens of thousands gathered, including actor Robert De Niro, who criticised the president’s leadership.
Demonstrations were also recorded in cities like Atlanta and San Diego, with protests spreading across the country, including parts of Alaska.
The latest demonstrations mark the third wave of mass protests in less than a year.
