Italian Serie A club Napoli have confirmed that head coach Antonio Conte will leave the club after a two-year spell, ending his tenure by mutual agreement before the expiration of his contract.
The club said both parties agreed to part ways and thanked Conte and his coaching staff for their contributions, including guiding Napoli to the 2024/25 league title.
Conte, 56, previously led Italy’s national team and has been widely linked with a return to international management.
Meanwhile, former AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly in advanced talks to take over the Napoli job, following his recent departure after failing to secure Champions League qualification with Milan.
