The Nigeria Democratic Congress has constituted a seven-member National Reconciliation Committee to address grievances arising from its recent primaries across the country.
The party said the committee will engage aspirants nationwide to resolve outstanding issues and promote unity among members.
Political economist, Professor Pat Utomi, will chair the committee, while Buba Galadima will serve as co-chairman.
Other members of the committee include Mohammed Takori as Vice Chairman, Babatunde Alli as Secretary, as well as Dudu Manuga, Salvador Moshood, and Alhaji Haruna Pai.
The party also announced the creation of three sub-committees to coordinate reconciliation efforts in the North, South-South, and South-East geopolitical zones.
The committee is expected to be inaugurated at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, August 6.
