Nigerian Information Parastatals Get New Leaders

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Charles Ebuebu as the new Director General of the National Broadcasting Commission.

His appointment is contained in a statement on Wednesday by the presidential media aide Ajuri Ngelale.

Ngelale also announced the appointment of 7 other Chief Executive Officers in agencies under the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation.

Others appointed are Lanre Issa-Onilu for the National Orientation Agency, and Muhammed Bulama for the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria while Abdulhamid Dembos has been reappointed as the Director General of the Nigerian Television Authority.

Also appointed are Jibrin Baba-Ndace for the Voice of Nigeria, Muhammed Ali for the News Agency of Nigeria, Dili Ezughah for the Nigerian Press Council while Dr Lekan Fadolapo was reappointed as the Director General of the Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria.

Similarly, President Tinubu on Thursday approved the appointment of Muhammed Abu Ibrahim as the Executive Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF).

Their appointments take immediate effect.
