The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) says it is ready to implement reforms to address emerging challenges and strengthen its role in national development.
Brig. Gen. OO Nafiu, NYSC Director General, made the remarks Monday at the 2026 NYSC Annual Management Conference in Jos, Plateau State.
He stressed the need to adapt to changing populations, security concerns, and evolving technology, adding that the corps must embrace change to enhance service delivery and impact.
Nafiu urged participants to review operations, share experiences, and introduce new ideas, describing NYSC as a unique pool of human capital with diverse skills and yearly intake of young Nigerians.
