The Ondo State Police Command has reassured residents of Odigbo Local Government Area that no security breach, terrorist threat, or incident has been recorded in the area.
Authorities said there is no credible information indicating any imminent danger to public safety.
The Commissioner of Police, CP Felix Ohagwu, directed all officers and intelligence units to maintain heightened surveillance and visibility policing across the state, particularly around schools, public facilities, and critical assets.
Residents and students were urged to remain calm and continue their daily activities without fear.
The police warned that misinformation and unverified reports could cause unnecessary panic and urged the public to rely on official sources for security updates. Citizens are encouraged to support security agencies by providing timely and credible information.
