President Tinubu Embarks on Three-State Tour; To Spend Holidays in Lagos

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to depart the nation’s capital on Saturday for a high-profile three-state visit to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos, where he will conclude the year with official and festive engagements.

The visit, announced by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, marks a blend of infrastructure commissioning, high-level condolences, and cultural celebrations.

The President’s first stop will be Maiduguri, Borno State.

During his time in the Northeast, he will commission several landmark projects executed by Governor Babagana Zulum’s administration in partnership with the Federal Government.

While in the state capital, President Tinubu will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Governor Senator Ali Modu Sheriff, to his fiancée, Hadiza Kam Salem.

From Borno, the President will proceed to Bauchi State to pay his respects following the death of the revered Islamic scholar, Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi.

He will wrap up his tour in Lagos, where he is expected to spend the remainder of the 2025 holiday season.

A centerpiece of his Lagos itinerary is the Eyo Festival, scheduled for Dec. 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS).

He is also expected to participate in other private and public engagements in Lagos before the end of the year.
