The Police Service Commission has released the names of successful applicants for the recruitment of 50,000 Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force, the commission announced Wednesday.
The recruitment exercise was conducted in collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force, the Federal Character Commission, the Ministry of Police Affairs, state career and counseling departments, and the Police Community Relations Committee, according to a statement from the commission.
The commission said candidates who participated in the written examination should log on to the official recruitment portal, npfapplication.psc.gov.ng, to check their status. The portal opens at 12:00 a.m. Thursday, July 16.
Successful candidates will also receive email and SMS notifications using the contact details they provided during the application process, the commission said.
Successful applicants are expected to report to designated Police Training Institutions for medical examination and documentation, on dates to be communicated later. Candidates who fail to report within the stipulated time will be considered to have declined the offer, according to the statement.
The commission said candidates who fail the medical examination conducted by the Police Medical Team upon resumption of training will be declared unfit and required to leave.
Candidates are to report with their training call-up slip, NIN slip, BVN slip, and original and photocopied certificates, along with other documents to be listed on the recruitment portal.

Argungu charged the successful candidates to see this opportunity as a clarion call to serve the nation with dignity, integrity and unwavering commitment to a safe and secured Nigeria.
