Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged members of the National Council on Skills to ensure that Made-in-Nigeria products and services meet world-class standards.
Speaking at the 8th meeting of the council at the Presidential Villa on Thursday, Shettima called on stakeholders across government and the private sector to harness the innovative potential of Nigerians to drive the country’s industrial growth.
He stressed that the council’s responsibilities go beyond preparations for the 48th WorldSkills Competition scheduled for Shanghai in 2026, as efforts intensify to strengthen skills development nationwide.
