The Strait of Hormuz has been declared fully open to commercial shipping, according to Iran’s Foreign Minister, amid a 10-day ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon.
U.S. President Donald Trump says Iran has announced the waterway is “fully open and ready for full passage.”
Iran’s Foreign Minister also confirmed that the strait has officially reopened following recent tensions in the region.
He added that passage for commercial vessels is now completely open, saying the decision aligns with the ongoing ceasefire in Lebanon.
