Tinubu Arrives in Kigali for Africa CEO Forum

President Bola Tinubu has arrived in Kigali, Rwanda, ahead of the 13th edition of the Africa CEO Forum scheduled to begin on Thursday.

He was received at the Presidential Wing of the Kigali International Airport by Rwanda’s Minister of Defence, Juvenal Marizamunda, alongside Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu.

The Africa CEO Forum, founded in 2012 by Jeune Afrique Media and co-hosted by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), is regarded as Africa’s largest annual gathering of private sector leaders, investors, and policymakers.

It provides a platform for discussions on economic transformation, regional integration, and cross-border investment.

This year’s edition is themed “The Scale Imperative: Why Africa Must Embrace Shared Ownership.”

President Tinubu is expected to deliver a keynote address titled “Holding the Line: Nigeria’s Reform Bet in a Fractured World,” where he will outline the gains and challenges of Nigeria’s ongoing economic reforms.

During the visit, the President will also hold a series of high-level bilateral meetings with global and African business leaders, as part of efforts to strengthen investment ties and deepen economic cooperation.

He is expected to reaffirm Nigeria’s commitment to African unity, regional integration, and private sector-led development across the continent.
