President Bola Ahmed Tinubu says development must be deliberate, practical and beneficial to citizens, as he praised ongoing projects in Ogun State.
In a post shared on X after visiting Iperu on Friday, the president described the Gateway Cargo Airport as “proof of what is possible when vision is matched with discipline.”
“Our investment is about our people. Today’s foundation is for tomorrow’s prosperity,” Tinubu said.
He commended Governor Dapo Abiodun for what he called focus and consistency, noting that development is about decisions that improve lives, not rhetoric.
The president also highlighted newly launched assets, including aircraft, electric bikes, tractors and security equipment, saying they reflect real and visible progress.
“Development must touch every level,” he said, adding that his administration’s Renewed Hope reforms are enabling states to access more resources and deliver projects.
Tinubu said many states are responding positively, stressing that the federal government will remain committed to sustaining progress.
“We are building for people, and we are building for prosperity,” he added.
