President Bola Tinubu has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential nomination form to seek re-election in 2027, becoming the first aspirant to do so as the party opened sales of forms.
House of Representatives member James Faleke picked up the form on Tinubu’s behalf Tuesday at the APC national secretariat in Abuja after the payment of N100 million, as stipulated by the party.
The form was presented to Faleke by APC National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Argungu shortly after the commencement of sales for aspirants seeking the party’s presidential ticket.
Party officials said the development formally signals Tinubu’s intention to contest the 2027 presidential election under the APC platform.
