U.S. President Donald Trump has warned that further military escalation remains on the table following a new round of American strikes on Iranian targets.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said U.S. forces hit Iranian missile and drone storage sites as well as coastal radar installations, describing the action as a response to what he called a violation of a ceasefire agreement.
He said the strikes were necessary to counter continued aggression, adding that U.S. forces acted against what he termed “ongoing violations” by Iran.
Trump warned that if the situation continues, the United States would be forced to “militarily complete the job.”
He also issued a strong warning, stating that continued actions by Tehran could lead to further consequences for the country, saying the Islamic Republic “will no longer exist” if hostilities persist.
