
The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has renamed the Abuja International Conference Centre after President Bola Tinubu.
During the ceremony at the conference center on Tuesday, Wike emphasized Tinubu's achievements and pivotal role in advancing the country.
He also addressed financial matters concerning the venue, stating that the administration is committed to settling any outstanding payments related to the conference center's operations and maintenance.
The minister reassured stakeholders that the renaming would not affect financial obligations and that the government is dedicated to ensuring the venue's continued excellence. Wike announced that all events at the center would now be paid.
The 34-year-old Abuja International Conference Centre, a key venue in Nigeria's capital, is renowned for hosting prominent national and international events.
