Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has hinted that he is working on a new album, sending fans into a frenzy of anticipation.
The singer made this known in a post on his X handle, where he revealed that he was enjoying the process of making the project.
“Having so much fun making this next one! Can’t wait to share,” Wizkid wrote.
Responding to fans who have been eagerly anticipating his next project, the singer added, “E go drop, make una stop dey fight.”
Wizkid, however, did not reveal the title or release date of the forthcoming album.
The project will be his first full-length album since Morayo, which was released in November 2024 and dedicated to his late mother, Jane Balogun.
Morayo featured collaborations with artistes including Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola and Anaïs Cardot.
Wizkid has also released other major projects, including Made in Lagos, More Love, Less Ego and Sounds From the Other Side.
